Three years ago, Krystle Arnold, bridesmaids manager for bridals by lori, decided she was ready tomove on from the event planning business. “I was working at a company working on all the events,” she says. “You work 365 days a year. It was becoming a bit much for a 22-year-old, to not have a life.” When Krystle found out bridals by lori was searching for a part-time associate in the bridesmaids department, she decided to give it a try. It turns out, she has a flair for helping brides and their wedding attendants find the right look for the big day. “I get to put looks together, it’s just more on the fashion side,” Krystle says.
Today, as evidenced on Say Yes to the Dress Bridesmaids, Krystle keeps busy bringing brides and bridesmaids together when choosing the perfect bridesmaids dresses, but there’s more to this sassy lady than bringing harmony to the sales floor. Read on for more insight on Krystle.
What one thing would surprise people the most about you?
KA: I’m a sports fanatic, particularly football. People are surprised to know I know teams, stats, players. I’m obsessed with Ray Lewis of the Baltimore Ravens. I definitely love Reggie Bush, just to name a few.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever seen at work?
KA: When we were filming, a maid of honor refused to give away her title because she wanted to be the only one. She was saying she wasn’t going to be in the wedding if there was more than one maid of honor.
If you weren’t working at your current job, what would you be doing?
KA: Something in fashion, maybe daytime sitcoms, something with TV shows. Dressing everyday people rather than high-fashion looks.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
KA: Can I have a couple? I love, love, love food! But I’m also obsessed with makeup. I’m always getting new eye pencils; I’ve tried every mascara out there. And I’ve tried everything from cheap to expensive.
