A-Line

An A-Line is a dress that is fitted at the hips and gradually widens towards the hem, giving the impression of the shape of a capital letter A.

Ideal for all body types

Ball Gown

The "Fairy Tale" dress with a fitted bodice traditionally a full-skirted gown reaching the floor

Ideal for fuller hips and rear, and smaller top. Not good for petites; the skirt can be overwhelming on a small frame.

Mermaid

A Mermaid gown is fitted on the body from the chest to the knee, then flares out

Ideal for slender frames, also good for hourglass shapes who are willing to show off curves

Sheath

Fits very closely to the contours of the body. narrow shape that flows straight down with no waist

Ideal for lean frames, also good for hourglass shapes who are willing to show off curves

Trumpet

Fitted through the body until mid-hip and widens gradually to the hem

Often mistaken for Mermaid but trumpet flairs from mid-hip, mermaid flairs below the knee
